South Africa tour of United Arab Emirates

Boucher was unable to follow suit. Umar Gul, who was extracting a touch of reverse-swing from the pitch, jagged one back in, Boucher missed it and Gul had his first wicket of the match. Boucher departed for 15. Instead of ending their innings there, South Africa sent out Johan Botha. In the dressing room Dale Steyn sat padded up, an indication that South Africa wanted to bat until they felt they had shut Pakistan out of the match completely.

Tanvir Ahmed, who concentrated on bowling yorkers, and Gul kept the run scoring in check and in the end South Africa added 30 runs in six overs. They batted for just under half an hour on the fifth day before deciding to take the field again. Prince was unbeaten on 47.

India vs New Zealand 3rd Test Highlights

India 566 for 8 dec. (Dravid 191, Dhoni 98, Gambhir 78, Sehwag 74) beat New Zealand 193 (Ryder 59, Ishant 4-43, Ojha 3-57) and 175 (Ishant 3-15, Harbhajan 3-56) by an innings and 198 runs

It was probably too much to expect New Zealand to have wrenched a draw in this game after being dominated in the first three days, but you'd have expected them to at least take the match till late into the fourth day.
Vettori and the rest of the New Zealand team come out of the dressing-room and shake hands with the Indians as they troop off the ground

Almost everything has gone right for India in this game, perhaps some runs from Raina would have made it perfect. Two men who weren't in their best form, Gambhir and Dhoni, spent time in the middle, Ishant Sharma and Sreesanth seemed to be in rhythm, and the spinners did their job as well in Nagpur. The win means India take the series 1-0, and they are now haven't lost a series since the Mendis inspired Sri Lanka to victory in mid-2008.

It's not all doom-and-gloom for New Zealand, who were widely expected to be thumped 3-0 Brendon McCullum's audition as a Test opener was also a success.

SRI LANKA VS WEST INDIES 2ND TEST LIVE STREAMING, SL VS WI 2ND TEST LIVE Match

Sri Lanka would the pile up 600 themselves that was dashed as Kemar Roach and Shane Shillingford led a committed bowling display which ended with the home side three runs short of saving the follow-on.

West Indies, though, have issues of their own after Shillingford, the offspinner, was reported to ICC for a suspect action.

However, given the travails of West Indies in recent years to be entering the second Test of an away series still on level terms isn't an achievement to take lightly. If Gayle continues his form and gets the same support from his team-mates as at Galle then this series can remain an unexpectedly tight contest.

The Ashes 2010-11

Just as no battle plan survives contact with an enemy, few cricket predictions survive even a day of actual play. But the augurs of the forthcoming Ashes series are worth recording: England enter the series in the decidedly unfamiliar position of overdogs, forecast to ratify the possession of the urn they regained 14 months ago.
